Rose clover grows on all soil types but they must be well drained and have a pH of 8 or less. It has been proven to be more productive and persistent than the other clovers in north central Texas and central Oklahoma. Rose clover is a good reseeder because of a high percentage of hard seed production, but seedling vigor is poor.
